One of the really nice features introduced in MC26 was the ability to download files from a Media Server to a client machine, however it does have one shortcoming for my typical use case.
I normally use this feature to download video files to my low powered Netbook for when I travel and because only the video file is downloaded then a full re-import on the client which entails audio analysis, 'Get Movie info' etc is required.
It would be great if the associated sidecar and image files were also downloaded which would make import on the client much faster and would also ensure any tagging edits were transferred.
(No rush to add this feature, I stupidly fell over when hiking recently and broke my ankle and leg so I'm not going anywhere for a while! Sincere thanks to the Tasmanian paramedics who rescued me from the bush and got me to hospital).
