Changing file location
« on: December 16, 2020, 09:59:49 pm »

I am trying to rename all my files so they will be subdivided into folders like: Volume/Music/Artist/Album/name.  But when I use the change name and relocate function, it does not add the folders and move the songs into the proper folder.  Am I doing something wrong?

Use Rename, Move and Copy.  Check the directory option.

Yes.

Start by reading this article more carefully, and look at the example pictures.

You should ensure your action (in the dropdown at the top) is Rename.

Then ensure the Directories and Filename options are checked, and that you fill out the rules you want in the boxes.

Try again, and if you're still having problems, post again with a screenshot of how you have the dialog filled out.
