JRiver version 27
Cambridge audio 851N network player

I try to play music from my computer via the 851N on my audio installation but can't connect JRiver to the 851
What must I do?

Hi, I try to connect via local network. It has worked but my trial period was expired and removed the software. Later I reinstall it but don't get it to work. The IP of my player is 192.168.0.101 and the range is 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199 I tryde white bear program and see the cambridge 851N execpt JRiver. I do something wong but what?

Turn on Media Network in options.

I turned the media network on and the DLNA server but no way he is playing my music through my 851N player. Maybe the wrong DNLA option 'Generic DNLA'

Maybe.  Try setting up Windows Defender.

... at this point I’m afraid that your 851N cannot be used as DLNA renderer ....
But you could try a different approach:
In JRiver enable the DLNA Media Server

then, using the Cambridge Audio app, you should be able to select JRiver as Media Server
Select the music you like and play it to the 851N

I don't use JRemote or whatever. How would I use a driver for the 851 on my computer? (CA connect?) My device is not been seen as a renderer or music player if JRiver just like spotify. It is not in the upper left corner.

JRemote cost 11 euro additional and I have already paid for JRiver. In the tiral it worked but now it doesn't. Which DLNA renderer I must use, used Generic and 24bit high resolution or another.

It finally works. A piece of hardware (router) did the trick. I had changed the router with standard IP 192.168.0.1 for a router with standard adres 192.168.1.1 which was the new router. Now a changed back to the old router with adres 192.168.0.1 and the player (851N) is seen by JRiver ans plays now from my computer to my audio equipment. Is there a way for the dev. to detect a different IP when switching router?

In my router? I can change the IP in my router actually I thought. Can change the router adress but never thought that a change of IP (gateway) did such problems.
