Hi, I am using MC27 master license, Both windows and Linux.
My Windows MC 27 is connected to Emotiva RMC-1 Processor via HDMI 2.0 through nVidia GTX 1065.
Here is what I got:
OPPO 203 - play SACD Disc or DSD file - HDMI - Processor shows it is DSD stream. Stereo and Multichannel. No Problem.
PC - Windows 10 - MC27 - DSD file (.dsf) - GTX 1065 - HDMI 2.0 - Processor only got PCM Stereo and Multichannel.
My PC acknowledge that my Processor as 24bit/192KHz capable multichannel device. Using WASAPI type output.
No conversion whatsoever on DSP and Device setup menu.
No bitstream is checked. So my processor aware it is PCM. Unlikely my OPPO 203.
Ok, when I check "Bitstream DSD" option on DSP menu and play DSD file, no playback is start. No sound, No play, nothing.
How can I send "Native DSD format stream" to my Processor? Is it possible?
Some infomation said nVidia is not possible to send DSD stream through HDMI, but I don't think so. Graphics card does not have any role on this process, it just "pass through" bitstream to processor, since there is no DSD to PCM convertion circuit is existed on Graphics card. Any idea?
