GUI became unresponsive
« on: August 11, 2021, 02:57:27 pm »

Not sure what happened, but as of last night when a recording (TV) starts in JRiver (v28 build 48), the GUI becomes completely un-responsive.  I can't close the app, I have to reboot.  I even tried uninstalling it (which was successful), but the frozen UI just sits there.  I missed 4 recordings last night because of this, and it's still not working after a re-install.

It looks like Cox has gone DRM in Orange County, and my best guess is that is the reason why it froze up.

Confirmed.  When I cleaned up the DRM channels, all works well.

It would still be nice if MediaCenter would fail gracefully in this case.

It would be even nicer if Cox wouldn't have changed everything to DRM.  sigh.

I will try to figure out a way to break out of this situation.
