Bonjour.  What is the name of the app?

Look under the Settings icon for Load Library.

the app is  simply named "jriver for android"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jriver.mediacenter&hl=fr

perhaps not an official jriver app ?

That's our app.  You need to make sure Media Network is turned on on your server and that you can connect to it.  See the wiki for information on Library Server.

Then, on Android, open the settings icon and choose "Load Server".

It doesn't need anything extra, but are you getting JRiver from the Play Store on each device?

Have the devices been modified in any way?

The version of Android can't be too old.

surprise using jriver for android on my freebox...

1/ that makes my freebox a DLNA renderer... usable from my windows jriver server... that's fun and solves an issue with this freebox (the box delta of free.fr is not a DLNA renderer...) but in fact, reduces the necessity of installing jriver on my freebox ! i can use my phone to select my music and play on the box with my (relatively) good HIFI speakers...

2/ when i use jriver for android on my freebox, it uses the jriver process on my windows jriver server... and... i have no sound on others apps... ? seeing from my windows computer, it is as if i was playing from my jriver server...  Is that normal ? mandatory ?

thanks again
