28 stop working and error message

Hi: I am new to the forum. I downloaded 28 for windows, I have 3 laptops and I am testing in which one of them I get the best sound to use that laptop as my music server. When I test the music play for a few seconds and stop, then I got a message that the program is playing on more than one computer. I never use the program on two computers at the same time just one at a time. Please let me know what to do to finish my testing and purchase the program. Thanks in advance. Luis.

You might want to confirm that "Allow Multiple instances to run at one time" is not enabled (see screenshot).  Also note the search box highlighted at to bottom of the options window - using that can often help solve problems and save you a lot of time... like waiting for an answer on the forum ;D .  I don't use the server functionality much with MC, so my advice may be completely useless, but it will give something to try until someone more knowledgeable chimes in.
