Hi.

I'm trying to play a regular DVD on my internal Mac DVD drive using the latest MC29 build (demo). MC doesn't show any drives - DVD internal or Bluray external. Am I missing something? In the "Drives & Devices" tab there is just a graphic of a gear...no drives listed.

Your help would be great. For me, it's nearly the perfect player...if I can get this to work.

Thanks.

MC currently supports DVD/BD media only on the windows platform.

Thanks Bob.
We'll...that explains it. Any plans for Mac support of disk media?

Talked about it this morning.
It's very tied into windows API now in MC so it would be a pretty big project.

I am thinking of buying Apple DVD drive for ripping CDs. Can JRiver play CDs from this Apple drive under M1 Mac Mini with Monterey ?

Any ordinary optical drive should work for CD ripping.

My Asus Blue Ray Drive also isn't seen by MC29 in my desktop.
I am using Linux Mint...thought that was why but now see it's not just me or my machine.
Also, I just paid for MC30 Master License. I've been using MC since MC10 or thereabouts.
I REALLY hope this issue is resolved....Audiophiles STILL like to rip CD's! :(

CD ripping hasn't been implemented yet in MC for Linux.
