Forum Certificate Error
« on: June 19, 2022, 07:35:52 am »

I'm new to this forum, and my anti-virus (Bitdefender) caught something when I first entered the forum. I can't see any other place to post this, so the message is below:
"Feature: Online Threat Prevention

firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to glynor.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated security certificates represent a risk."

Any thoughts?

That might be from a skin or plug-in.  glynor is a user of JRiver.

My shot in the dark guess is that you browsed to a location on the forums with one of his topics/posts where it tried to load his avatar, which is hosted on and loaded from his own domain which for some reason is triggering Bitdefender.

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.

Good guess.  I removed his avatar.
