Memory playback still enabled on URL play
« on: June 24, 2022, 05:38:26 am »

When playing certain web radio stations with memory playback enabled, soon the playback will fail and stop. This has been discussed several times.

What memory playback mode?  Could you share a URL?  Thanks.

Ok sorry, looks like I had some random issues. Yes, Memory playback is not automatically disabled any more (I think this is intended now?) but I couldn't spot any playback issues after 10-minute tests on these and other web stations. I will post here again if something new comes up.

Me and Hendrik had a conversation and decided memory playback should not engage if the URL returns an unknown content length.  So we'll make that change for a coming build.  Thanks for the help.
