Author Topic: Clarity M Loudness Meter .vst3 Plugin - not receiving feed from Streamed source  (Read 1308 times)

I have a TC Electronics Clarity M Loudness Meter connected to the dedicated PC running JRiver MC29. It has both a USB2.0 and an Optical feed. The USB feed relies on the Clarity M .vst3 plugin to interface with JRiver MC29.

When MC is playing any Audio files from the hard drive it displays normally on the Clarity M meter - both the USB or optical interfaces work. However, when the source music is from a Streaming service (eg. internet radio station) it will only display when the optical feed is selected and not the USB option which utilises the .vst3 plugin.

I would really appreciate if anyone is able to explain the phenomena !
- especially to clarify if this is expected behaviour, or
- whether there may be some setting which can be altered to enable the functionality

Many thanks,

Best regards,

Kevin

Try using our WDM driver:

https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/WDM_Driver

It's the only way for JRiver to route audio from a browser to its audio engine.  It might work for you.

Hello Jim,

Many thanks for the instant response - Windows now routed through the WDM Driver and it works perfectly  :)
If only all problems were so readily resolved !

Best regards,

Kevin
