Is there a preferred web browser when using the panel? I use firefox. Sometimes the directional arrows on my keyboard work for page scrolling, but most of the time they do not work. and I must use the track pad for scrolling. Is there a reason for this inconsistency?

Any browser should work.  Try touching the screen to return focus to the page.
