Hallo

I have some DSD files witch are SACD-images. So each files contains some songs.
I don't want to split these files because the process is going via PCM.
But today within MCJR I see these DSD two times: the Images itself and the integrated songs
How can I hide the SACD images in the MC-views / remotes, but still see and select the contained song?

If desired (and you're using DSD bitstreaming, and not just converting DSD to PCM) you actually can extract individual tracks from a SACD ISO using sacd_extract, which doesn't go through any sort of conversion, so no going through PCM. In simple terms, the app reads the SACD ISO's table of contents (TOC) to see where the raw data for each individual track is located within, then it extracts that raw data as-is for that track then places it into a container like DSF or DFF (though do note DFF doesn't support metadata, and DSF does) that can be imported into MC. This is what I've done with all the SACD ISOs I have, and those individual, extracted DSF files I've imported into MC. The slight downside is it's a command line app, but fortunately there are GUI frontends like Sonore's ISO2DSD which you can use with sacd_extract to make the process easy.

As for embedded images, what SACD ISO is it? Is the embedded images an advertised feature of the SACD release or perhaps if you downloaded the SACD ISO from somewhere (and not ripped it yourself) the ripper who ripped the SACD decided to embed album art and maybe manual scans or something like that? Or is the SACD in a format like WavPack with DSD contained within? If so in the past I've seen WavPack files with embedded album art and manual scans, so maybe that could be it? Might need more information about the SACD file(s) themselves.

I think you've misunderstood AD.  The OP says he sees his SACD ISO (which he is calling an image) and he sees the individual songs.  He does NOT want to split his ISOs.  He just wants to only see each album only once (not twice).

Okay... when you say the SACD image appears, do you mean the SACD image as a whole, single file that's been imported or an album being imported and showing twice? If the former what happens if you try removing a SACD image and leave the individual tracks in MC's library? Do the individual tracks still work/play? It seems kinda strange to me that a SACD ISO as a whole would appear imported in the library (which doesn't make sense to me, in my mind it should only import the individual tracks contained within the SACD image) along with the individual tracks from the same SACD image, if that's indeed happening here.

If an album appears imported twice (with two sets of the same tracks listed) that may mean the SACD album has both stereo and multichannel tracks, and Media Center has imported all of them (once with the stereo tracks, then again with the multichannel tracks). And if that's the case it's as simple as figuring out which you want to keep and deleting the rest from the library.

Might be worth posting a screenshot of your library with the SACD image and the songs showing, it's a bit of a brain scratcher.

I have a file named "side-A.DSF. whitch is Album "ABC""
Within this file there is song "1" to "3"
When I look at Album "ABC", I see within MC: side-A and 1, 2, 3.
When i tell MC play Album "ABC", MC plays "side-A" (song: 1, 2, 3) followed by the song 1, 2, 3...

My understanding was that splitting "side-A2 into its songs, the process is going PCM.
I know the apps "sacd_extract" and "ISO2DSD". They are capable to work with *.dsf files?
If it is true using "sacd_extract" is just a DSD to dsd operation I will try this first.

If the extension is DSF, MC will expect a DSF file format, not ISO. 

It would help if you read about the ISO format.  Try a Google search or Wikipedia.

ISO is a disc image.  You could think of it as a container format that could include any files.

Please correct me if I'm wrong in any way.

You might be right here.
These are no ISO files. Just a 3 songs integrated DSF file.
Than "sacd-extract" didn't work. ;-(

Yeah, sacd_extract won't work on a DSF file unfortunately. The only way to deal with a DSF track containing three different tracks is to have the source SACD ISO and use sacd_extract to extract new, individual DSF files.

I am not sure exactly what the file format that you are describing is. DSF files usually only have one track in them.

Vinyl Studio is a program used to clean up vinyl rips and to separate the tracks. It works on dsf files. You might be able to open the dsf file and select each track and write them out separately. That would not go through a PCM conversion.  Audacity might be able to do the same thing.

Edit : I checked and Audacity does not work with DSD files. I thought they had added that support, but I do not see it in the descriptions.
