JRVR settings not sticking
« on: February 20, 2023, 03:22:45 pm »

I keep opening the Tools->Options->Video->JRVR Options... and setting it to the "Quality Preset", and then hitting OK.

But the next time I open the dialogue box, the settings are back to "Performance Preset".

I have a 12700K with a RTX 2070 Super, so the Quality Preset shouldn't be much of an ask. Any idea what's going on?

The preset is not a setting itself, its just a template for all other settings. Click load under the preset to apply it.

Well that's visually confusing, especially considering it reverts to "Performance" each time it's opened, even after clicking Load Preset. But thank you.

This is true, I noticed it too, but if you go to verify, you will see that the settings have been applied.

As Hendrik says, that is a starting point that you can modify according to your possibilities
