JRemote2 not working on Shanling M8 DAP running on Androird 7.1.1 [Solved]

Hello,
I run JRiver MC 20 on a PC and recently bought a Shanling DAP running Android 7.1.1
I downloaded JRemote2 from Google Play and setup a  connection to the Server running on MC20.
The app is stuck and does not display the any Library views or playlist  ?
I also have JRemote installed on my IPhone 14 and is running just fine.
Any thought of help would be appreciated.

The server is probably too old.  You could try the current version.

Updating the server to the current version solved the issue.
