I am brand new to JRiver, just setup the trial. I was really impressed with the ease of initial setup. It discovered my TV Tuner automatically and found all my media. The appearance and flow of the Theater mode is beautiful.
Also impressed with the rich feature set (little things like zoom capability on photos),  ongoing development and staying abreast of emerging technology, documentation, and forum (as opposed to discord) support.
Easily head and shoulders above the competition.

I reviewed the Media Network topics and the documentation and I just want to confirm, is there any way to get the full theater mode experience on a TV that is not hardwired to a device running JRiver MC? Is there any smart TV client/app or some means of "casting", even to a media device like Fire Stick, that will support theater mode?

Thanks.  The Theater View interface on a TV would need to have a device capable of running JRiver Media Center directly connected to the TV.

It is possible to record on one device and play on another, in case that helps.
