Moving Files
« on: March 14, 2024, 02:30:41 am »

I have on a disk 2362 albums each in a separate folder, all of which gathered in a single one.
There is no definite naming convention for the folders.
SO it looks like  G:\All\ this; that; those etc.
In the library albums are tagged buy genre amongst other tags.
SO I can get a view that shows Me only my 378 Jazz albums.
The question is : How could I physically isolate those Jazz albums in order to move them to another folder ?
I there any way I can, from that library view, copy and move them in bulk ?

Wiki -- Rename, Move, Copy.

Find them by selecting Jazz or searching for [Genre]=Jazz

THanks but, That will find them, selecting them in the Library view but it does not provide a way to actually move them  or, Am I missing something ?

After selecting them, press F6 to open the Move/Copy tool. There are options there to move the files to a different location.
