Not able to retrieve all my past JR licenses. Can restore license for Windows as have registration code, but Mac license registration code misplaced. The Win notebook has seen better days. My Mac Air is newer, so maybe run JR from there.

Yes. Many changes in emails over fifteen years. I’d have to take some guesses.

On side note. Use to yearn for JRiver build for music-only player.
Was not to be. Compact, less code, less conflicts, single purpose
would win for me. Probably not viable as most want it all rolled into one.
Guessing to compete, developers must target the masses, not the niche.

Enable Audio Only Mode from the View menu, it'll disable the video and image features. You can also go into MC's Options > General > Features section and uncheck to disable other features you don't need.

Have always selected JR audio-only mode.
Less is more is choice lost on most.
Even if many features of purchase not used,
many equate more features with better.
That said, many will come around late in life when,
they must downsize considerably..
when complexity overwhelms them with diminished mental capacity.
..and so it goes.
