Hi,

What is the difference between option 2: "Remove from Media Library and send to the recycle bin" and option 3: "Remove from the Media Library and permanently remove from disk"?

As far as I can see when testing both options they are both gone from the disk after I have empty the recycle bin.
Is that the only difference? After empty the bin they are gone also with option 2? I use to empty the bin almost every day as I am using the PC for watching movies as well and I need the space.
I have used option 3 all the years I have had JRiver. I am just curious.

The recycle bin is a temporary delete of a file.  You can recover from it.

The other option is permanent and immediate.

Aha! Thank you Jim. That is what I almost suspected. Then i will continue the way I always did with option 3. And if I want to listen to songs that are deleted later on then I just import the CD into the disk and Library again from my other computer were I have all CD´s saved.
