Can DSP be set separately for each Zone under the same DLNA?
« on: February 11, 2025, 03:59:11 pm »

I use Sonos speakers and have several zones for each set of SONOS speakers.  But the only DSP settings seem to be at the DLNA level.  Is there a way to have separate DSP settings for each zone that uses DLNA?

Under Media Network, where you configure individual DLNA servers. Under Advanced you can customize the DSP settings for that particular server. You can add a new DLNA server and set up your DSP settings specifically for your speaker. Then associate your Sonos speaker zone (right click on the speaker)  with that DLNA server. That should give you individual DSP settings for each of your zones.

As an aside, I just play to one of my Sonos speakers and then use the Sonos app to group speakers as needed. That allows Sonos to sync the chosen speakers. However, I only regroup occasionally so using the app is fine for me. There is not much else I do with the app.
