Internal Volume?
« on: December 04, 2003, 06:25:37 am »

Please tell me I'm not going mad.......   ?

I 'thought' that I had used an internal volume setting on MC at some stage in the recent past (does not change 'global' volume just in MC).  I went hunting for the setting and it seems to have been removed (or perhaps was never there in the first place!!)

Was it ever there?  If so - may I enquire why it has been removed?

Thanks,

Laffer.

R-Click on the little speaker icon next to the volume bar.  That's where it was last time I checked...

Left-click works too.

Player > Volume menu also.

Wil "Internal Volume" be made to work with Video sometime soon?  It's a little disconcerting for some that the volume bad disappears altogether when using "internal" on video.

Fade out on stop isn't working with internal volume (Direct Sound Output AND Wave Output). The Slider slides down, but the volume stays!? Without using internal Volume it works. MC always hangs for the fade out completly and doesn't respond to anything either using internal or external volume. Crossfading works quiet OK (sometimes MC forgets to crossfade, but as a windowsuser I learned to live with little bugs  8) )
Anyone else?

I noticed the fadeout not responding issue too.  Is there anyway this can be avoided?  I prefer to have a fadeout but it is not great when you cannot use MC while it is fading...

Cheers
