'Always On'.. where is it set?
« on: January 06, 2004, 08:20:24 pm »

I remember seeing somewhere that there was a registry key to set this on, but I can't remember where it is, and couldn't turn anything up with searching.

I think someone mentioned they used this with one of KingSparta's plugins to keep using MC whilst running them... I'd like to be able to do this.  I keep forgetting the plugin is running and change views, which causes the plugin to stop the batch and MC to promptly crash :|  I realise that if I change the 'Playing Now' playlist it'll stuff up the plugin, but I just want to skip around some view schemes and check song names, etc whilst getting lyrics for example.

You're looking for the 'PluginMode' value.
For the MC XML Export plugin, the key is:

"HKLM\Software\JRiver\Media Jukebox\Plugins\Interface\MCXMLExport"

And the value is named "PluginMode" and is a "DWORD". 0 means active when visible, 1 means always active.

Thanks, that's the one I wanted.

Yay, now when I change away from the Lyrics Finder plugin it doesn't stop... unfortunately MC crashes, but at least the batch didn't stop ;)  [ well, not by itself :) ]  Oh well, was worth a try :)
