Hey there

I am a huge music fan as a result i am constantly adding new albums, at least 5 a week!

This gives me a problem with my 10GB IPOD! As i can just sync it anymore. So what i need is an option under the library so i can list the past 5 recent albums that i have added to my library.

Well... you could add this to any view scheme you create:

~sort=[Date Imported]-d

That will sort all of your files so that the most recently imported are at the top.

Couple that with this:

~s=10000

And it will grab the most recently imported files up to a maximum of 10,000 megabytes (roughly 10 GB). You can tune that number to work better.

Here's the whole search string:

~sort=[Date Imported]-d ~s=10000

Take a look at the playlist called "Recently Imported".  It gets cleared each time you exit.

Just to complement what suggested by JimH, if you find more comfortable to use the recently imported playlist, although it gets cleared each time you exit MC you can prevent it to do so by unchecking the relative check-box in Tools-> Options.
