WAV editors won't play
« on: March 03, 2004, 11:28:49 am »

I have the same problem with all my music players and editors. The players play, but the WAV editors are silent. I have a Soundblaster SB PC1512 card which appears to be acting normally. I think my problem lies with Dirext-X 8. I seem to be using DirectSound for everything. The players (MediaPlayer, Media Jukebox, Nero Mediaplayer, WINamp3 and Musicmatch jukebox) all play. My WAV editors (JRiver Media Editor, Nero WaveEdit, Soundpad and VAudioEdit) are silent. Any ideas? ?

Check your mixer settings...

Taskbar>System Tray>Volume icon (right click)>Open Volume Controls>Wave

...and make sure it's not muted or turned down. If not that, then it's got to be an SB config issue.
