ATI TV Player vs. MC TV Player
« on: March 31, 2004, 07:06:37 am »

Observation:
I'm switching from using ATI's TV player (in MMC) to MC's TV Player and noticed two features I miss in MC that ATI supported.

1. F4 hotkey to toggle Always On Top mode.  I think MC should have a hotkey as a standard feature as well.  This would be good for windowed-mode video (visualizations, TV, etc) and mini-me (too).  Navigating the options dialog or menu is too cumbersome for such a simple and usually on-the-fly (spur-of-the-moment) task.

2. F3 hotkey to toggle windowed-mode frame and player controls.  This a great feature for getting rid of clutter, but retaining windowed-mode feel (when you don't really want to go full screen).  I think MC should implement this feature and hotkey support as well.

Thoughts from any other TV player users out there?

I second that ;D

Would also like to see the Gamma control included... it works in the ATI TV software so why not with MC ?

I too miss some of the ATI TV controls & would love to see them imcluded in MC.

Me too.  I still use ATI MMC for TV playback and recording.
