I would consider it if they start offering downloads in a lossless format. Since I can buy used cds for $5.99 - $9.99 and get actual cd quality, it's highley unlikely that I would pay that much to download an album in a lossy format like mp3 or vorbis. I might be tempted to buy single tracks here and there, though.

Same here.  I've purchased from CD Baby (an actual CD), and am planning on purchasing from Magnatune (lossless download) simply because I get lossless.

Companies that offer only lossy music aren't likely to get my dollars.
