License Problem
« on: July 14, 2004, 06:27:12 pm »

I was installing another operating system when a mistake corrupted my MBR and partitions. Ended up having to reformat and lost my Media Jukebox 9.

Unfortunately, my saved email that had my registration code for it was on the same computer (no replies please on how stupid that was...I know already). I read over the FAQ and found it to say you could restore license "usually" by entering the code.

Is there any recourse for my situation above? Or just out of luck?  :-[

The restore page has an option to e-mail you your Registration Code.  That should do it.

www.mediajukebox.com/license has a link.

9.1 can still be downloaded.  There is a link in the FAQ near the top of this page.

I wonder how it would be if there was a place within MC you could enter the code (since you have it) and then mc would go out to the restore page and restore the program.

most people do look for a place within the program to enter there code and not on a page on a server.

It's a good idea.  Thanks, King.
