Okay, first of all, MJ9 is great, and has allowed me to start ripping my entire CD collection to MP3, however, I now have a problem.

I want to find a way to setup a scheme to ease backups of new MP3s. I want to be able to see that the new files (Ones that have yet to be backuped to CD) are at 600 megs, and need to be backedup. Then, back those up and mark them as backedup so I don't reback them up. Anybody have any ideas on how to do this, or software that will automate this?

With W2k & XP (don't know about Win9x) you could use the included MS Backup. Should be able to back up to CD-R's or RW's (if you don't have a DAT, DLT, QIC,...drive). Haven't tried it, though. During the process it will set the Archive bit (flag) to true which tells MS Backup it has been backed up previously.

Easiest way: Tag them as backuped in one of the custom fields. Then sort all your files by that field and the unmarked files will come up at the top (or bottom) where you can easily identify them and see their total size by marking them.

That IS much easier, and you can do it entirely within MJ (but depending how you have it set up, it may truncate long file names when burnt as data to CD). Doing it with MS Backup is more fault tolerant (doesn't depend on a user field being filled, doesn't truncate long file names), but the resulting backup up files can only be extracted with MSB (you can't simply copy the file back over).
