Problem Burning MP3's
« on: August 31, 2004, 03:48:30 am »

Hi all,

Further to the subject, I just took delivery of a basic external CD burner (USB - 6x4x6 CD-RW) today and every time I try to burn a CD with MP3 music files on it, MJ says something to the effect of "scanning files", then after about 3 minutes, it comes up with the error "A Device Error Occurred : Error Number is 1021 / Error Data is: Key: 5 ASC: 21 ASCQ: 0".

Any ideas what might be the cause, b/c I just got a new CD player in my car, and I would like to use the MP3 function in it to save my hauling around a bunch of CD's.

Thx in advance,

No idea, sorry.

You might try updating MJ or the trial of Media Center.
