MJB 8
« on: October 18, 2004, 11:39:10 am »

I received my confirmation e-mail which states that I can use the license on second computer. When I try to 'restore license' on the other computer, MJB says: Failed extracting license from file.

Will appreciate help.

Thanks for your reply.

I looked through the FAQ's found that I could dbl click on the licens file to install it but when I do that I still get this error:

   Error installing media jukebox license
   Failed extracting license from file.

Could it be that the license file is corrupted? I saved it from the e-mail confirmation.

I have tried to install the license key into the copy of Media JB on my second computer without success. I continue to get the error:

   Error installing media jukebox license
   Failed extracting license from file.

I followed the instructions that I found in the faq.

Do I have to be connected to the Internet and as for a new license key?

This is pretty rediculous and time consuming.

Try updating MJ.

Use IE as your browser.

Install keys are only good for 14 days.  After that you must use a restore.

Other possible problems are anti-virus, anti-spyware programs, etc.
