There used to be an option in playing now when in theater view.  What happened to this feature? Is it coming back?  If not how are we supposed to delete files that were added to Playing now that you don't want there anymore?

I agree.
For now I have enable "clear playing now on exit" option, so when I wan't to start over i have to turn off MC with remote and then start it again with cleared playing now.  
Also it would be nice if we can select some files in playing now, and reorder them or delete like in myHTPC.

I'm really missing this too! Hopefully it will come back in a future build. In the meantime, is there a way to clear Playing Now using a smart playlist perhaps?

I have been using MC for a while now but am just now putting a pc in the living room and I am wanting to use theater view exclusively.  This is because the only thing connected is a tv and a remote.  Anyway have noticed some bugs in Theater View.

1.  After "Selecting" multiple files and then saying "Add Selections" nothing is added to Playing now.
2.  If all the way into a cd and have a song high lighted and then click "Play" it adds the whole cd.  Yes I have "Add to playing now (single)" checked in the options.
3.  There is no "Selection" mode in playing now. (For deleting, moving ect....)
4.  There is no way to exit MC completely or Shut down the machine.

All of these work just fine in "Standard View".  Just don't work in "Theater View"

I've asked about this before also and apparently it's by design (albeit confusing). I don't think the "Add to playing now (single)" or Add to playing now (end)" has any effect in Theater View although I wish it did. I use the "Add" option instead which works - ie, only adds the highlighted song.

This is still an issue in the latest build. Just re-posting as a reminder. If something could be done to adress the other points in this post also then many would be eternally gratetful

You can program Girder to execute mjextman with a parameter that clears playing now. Or you can add an item to the main menu in Theaterview that executes such a mjextman command.

Hi Matt. How difficult would it be to adress these questions in an upcomming build? The lack of selection capability in Playing Now is especially limiting, eg, there's no way of deleting or moving tracks!
