running Meida Jukebox from another program
« on: December 26, 2004, 02:47:29 pm »

I often use Tag & Rename to edit .mp3 tags.  That program allows you to reference an outside player to play your files. I have tried to use the Media Jukebox by typing in the address of the .exe,
(i.e.  "C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center\Media Jukebox.exe", without the quotes ).
With other players that is all I've need to do. When I right click on the file in Tag & Rename and select Play from the pop up menu the file will play in all other players (when thier executable is identified) but not in Media Jukebox. I have Media Center version 10 installed.  Is there a special requirement for programatically running Media Jukebox? Am I referencing the wrong executable with Media Center installed? How can I get Tag & Rename to run Meida Jukebox and play the file that I selected?
