AAC problem
« on: April 23, 2005, 10:52:17 am »

AAC files from ITConversations don't play in .247.

Here's a link to one of the of the AAC/M4B files which won't play in MC:

This file does play in foobar 2000.

I have no problems with that file. (MC11.0.247 & QuickTime 6.5.2.)

QT 6.5.2:  http://appldnld.m7z.net/qtinstall.info.apple.com/pthalo/us/win/QuickTimeFullInstaller.exe

Hi Jim,
Yes, the file does play in QT 6.5.2
Steve G. was asking about this problem in the main thread, so I replied there. The problem is that MC is using path+filename length to calculate and Quick Time is just using filename length.

Thanks.
