Installation problem (11.1072, 11.0303, 11.001)
« on: December 06, 2005, 01:48:29 pm »

Hey!
Im having problems while trying to install Media Center. The installer loads and starts but when the blue bar has reached the end of the scale it just dies and nothing more happens. I've tried with 11.1072, 11.0303, 11.001 but nothing seems to work.

- Im admin of the computer (WinXP SP2)
- Ive killed all programs such as antivirus scanners, fw, spyguard etc.
- Event view doesnt report anything in regards to this installation
- I cant find any folder with temp files (as I thought the installer would try to   create..)
- In the task manager the installer is visible until it dies (when I guess some kind of wizard is supposed to start)

Anyone that can help? Id really like to try this software, that Ive heard so many good things about.

I used both IE, Firefox (mostly) and I blieve I tried Get Right as well.. However it never striked me that one could unpack an exe file. How often do you unzip an exe file on your desktop?  ::)
