is there an option to remove cassette hiss in media jukebox?? ? ?

at the top of Media Center, to the right of the position slider, are three small icons.   Click on the rightmost of these.

Removing hiss, is such a thing possible yet? Band filtered noise gating?

It depends how serious you are about it, Steinberg do a DX plugin called the De-Noiser which will do the job. I guess you could use it with MC and the DirectX host plugin.
