YADB Submissions
« on: April 08, 2006, 01:01:07 pm »

I have been trying to submit Track Information to YADB, but I get the following notification window popping up:

19 file selected for YADB submission
0 new files added to YADB
19 files not added because of file or server errors.

What could be causing this?

I could not connect to YADB today as well ... is it down for maintenance?

I used YADB tonight to look up CDs, it worked fine.

For the track submission, it may be a blank field - make sure they are all filled in.

Which fields must be filled in?  Could the error message be made more specific or, better, add some smarts to the submission process so that the error doesn't happen in the first place?

I also have the same problem, but have not been given any solution, I was told submitting tracks is differenet to submitting a CD, and told to look at the wiki, which told me what to do, I was already doing that. One note, it mentions making the files are tagged correctly, I have filled in all fields I know of.

I added the field info to the wiki:

http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/YADB#Track_Lookup

There is no message on success, only if the submission fails.

Thanks,
