I use library server to connect 2 htpc's to my main MC installation.  I recently upgraded to the latest version and when I did I saw the new ipod like skin (ipod 5+) so I installed it.  Now my MC library is about 10mb.  All of a sudden on of my machines started taking like 60 seconds to download the library while the other one would do it in about 2-4 seconds.  I never noticed that the 2 machines had different skins selected.  So yesterday, the one machine that I had not changed the skin on - well I changed the skin to the ipod 5+ and the download when from 2-4 seconds to 1 minute.  So I changed both skins back to Aliuminum (Black) and now they are both downloading the remote library in about 2-4 seconds.

Why in the world would changing the skin effect performance on something like downloading the remote library?
