- Open tag action pane and edit a semi column delimited field
- Leave tag pane open on semi columns delimited field selected for editing
- In the list pane (where your files are listed), edit a field (eg Name) by clicking on it with the left mouse button (do not use F2)
- The focus of the edited field dissapears directly
- Also when you do manage to edit the field, tab to the next field, focus dissapears

Very nice!  One feature to add for the future would be bookmarks on the thumbnail slider to instantly go to certain sizes.

With the new Thumbnail animation, and scrolling through a list, I feel like am getting SEA SICKNESS, seriously.  Maybe I will get used to it, but I don't know.

during resizing, that's really trippy. 1st impressions are not so good for me.
during scrolling, it's a little better. very smooth indeed, but also headache inducing. It's as if someone's violently shaking the monitor during scrolling. If it could be fine-tuned so as not to vibrate quite so strongly, it would get the thumbs up from me. A good start, but needs a little more to be 'just so'
so far, view changes appear to me as nothing more than a flicker. very fast indeed. if I were being picky, I'd say fine-tune it again so that there's no flicker at all.

This is working quite well. nice one.
Is it possible to extend this to: When hiding/unhiding the tree, the view does a better job of staying centered on the same images.?

It's true, Otto's an Instigator, a Bad Seed, a Wrecker; and certainly the first guy to suspect when the beer fridge's empty or the rent check bounces.  But as far as media editor sitting down on the job, might there be a more terrestrial-based explanation, hmmm?  Something to do with 1's and 0's?

For some reason, after installing this version, MC refused to start. I ultimately wound up uninstalling it, including all registry entries, rebooting, and reinstalling. Then MC would start. I restored a backup of my library.

For some reason, none of my previous thumbnails were present, and MC has to rebuild them all. Aren't the thumbnails part of the library?

Do you have clear playing now on exit checked?

Options > General > Advanced.   Clear Playing Now on Exit...   Uncheck that and it should still be there when you re start.

For me in my usage, this is the fastest, most stable of all the 12 series.
My compliments on all the speedups.

If you take an album, select
> copy first image file
> Then select paste image file

(With the intention of making sure the entire album has the same image)
The following happens when when show files is selected
1.  All the thumbnails are erased
2.  The Thumbnails are regenerated one by one as the images are reinstated.

However the very first files thumbnail is not regenerated, unless the mouse
is hovered over the file.

On Sync Conversion MC occasionally gets stuck
with a 1minute to go thinking it's still converting.
It's difficult to reproduce. Annoying tho since
MC is then impossible to close.

Converting APE's -> MP3's for a synchronized
library using dummy handheld device.
