DVD playback and secondary monitor
« on: September 05, 2006, 06:22:43 am »

I am having problems specially when trying to display the dvd on a secondary monitor using ONE video card.

It simply fails miserably.. IT crashes, when it doesnt it has problems displaying the movie and/or sometimes sound... Windows media player works ok on a secondary monitor. I would like to know what options or installation i should set correctly.

If the system uses whatever it has installed, how do i choose between different installed apps? I have intervideo windvd5 installed and windows media player.
As of right now i only use windows media player as it is the only one that will display the video on the secondary monitor.

As a work around you could add the player that work to your 'send to' and use that instead
Personally I use Media Player Classic as it gives me a lot more control over how it works and doesn't have all the extra buttons, lists etc
