Otto on startup?
« on: September 18, 2006, 08:03:27 pm »

Will Otto do a search for new media when MC starts?

What's the interval defined for searching folders?

Yes.

When a change is detected in a watched folder.

Just checking the logic on included and excluded watched folders.
Is this OK, or will it tie MC up in knots?

Here's the relevant part of the screen shot.

It's the logic between the First and Forth lines tha concerns me.

That should not be a problem.  I have a similar case and it works fine.

Isn't this exactly how the "Exclude" option is meant to be used? Excluding subfolders when the base folder (or drive letter) is not included doesn't make sense.

OTTO does not update my library. I have to do the Search Folders Now thing for it to find new additions to library.
I have enabled watch folders.

Music is on networked drive

Any suggestions?
