Normalising tracks

When burning a cd using tracks from various sources the sound volume can vary hugely from track to track. Can the sound normaliser cure this and if so what's the best way of doing it?

it may be better using the Realplay gain option.

I think it does a better job.

use the MJ help for more details

And then use diskwriter. Caution on how you have the cross fading setup. It will duplicate whatever you use now. Search Interact for 'diskwriter'. Will help shed some light on the subject.
