Thanks a lot for mentioning an illegal practice.

Now, I know a few people who downloaded to one folder and then scrolled through to find songs in explorer...omg.

I carefully make sure every song is named correctly before ripping.  My standard convention is as follows:

1. All initial caps, no more.  Even LA is replaced with La by the auto fixer in MC.
2. Song titles are kept as short and concise as possible while keeping accurate portrayal.  I also restrict additional info to () and only allow one.  It may be (Artist) if another common artist is in the song.
3. I always take care to make sure artists match previous instances of them so the songs go to the same folder.
