I was just using the search bar in the top right of the program and search for anything above 4 stars. Seems to me that it was more difficult than it needs to be. It would be nice if "Equal to or greater than" was default, and if we could graphically see the stars, rather than have to pull down the menu and then choose a value. Include/Exclude could also be a button which switches between one value or the other, to save another pull down menu.

Ideally something like this would be on the main interface for ultimate convenience, but I can see that would require beefing out the search box area to be more than a simple field box, and take up valuable space. Might also make the interface more difficult to understand. Ratings in the visualiser, tag window, search area, and file list might be ratings overload. Hmm, seems I've completely talked myself out of ratings filter on the main interface. I'll stop typing now.

If you're a keyboard guy, you can type:
r=4,5

[hit_ny]

wizard is too slow, i just type the below in

greater than 4 stars
r=>4

equal to 4 stars
r=4

greater than or equal to 4 stars
r=>=4

To exclude add a -
not greater than 4 stars
-r=>4

[edited by Matt to add an equal after r... the "where to search" is actually "r=" and what comes next is the what to search... that's why you write r=>4]
