Video all stripey.
« on: January 21, 2007, 11:40:30 am »

When I watch AVI files on MC 12 there are vertical stripes on the screen. It doesn't happen with previous versions.

Shouldn't happen.  Maybe the Directshow filters are wrong.  Try a search for CCCP here.

Most likely it is caused by wrong combination of video decoder and renderer filters.

Try looking at these:

Choice of video decoder.
Hardware accecleration setting on video decoder.
Choice of video renderer.

There are many great advices/recommendations on how to use CCCP codec pack to improve video playback. Do a search on this board as Jim suggested.

CCP is definately the right codec pack for the job. If anyone installed CCP on your computer they are 100% right.
