iPod alphabetic order

Well,
I think MC 11 changed the alphabetic order on my iPod so that the artists with 'The' at the start of their name got file under 'T'. And the artists with 'A' at the start of their name got file under 'A'. I think it was MC 11 that did this to my iPod. But when I initialized my iPod with MC 12 it is back to the regular way. How do I put it the same as MC?

I think this will do it for you. Change the sorting options:
Tools-->Options-->Tree & View-->Sorting-->Check Ignore Articles (a, an, the)
Edit: This is the way Artists sort on both my PC (Using MC 12) and on my iPod (5.5 generation 80gb)

I don't want it to ignore these articles. I want the iPod to do above ^^^^.

If I understand correctly, you want both MC and the iPod to sort, as an example, The Beatles under B - not under T. The option I mentioned controls this for MC.
I'm not sure if this is controllable for the iPod. Normally the JRiver team only follows the rules defined by Apple. Generally you will get the same result with MC as if you synced with iTunes. Maybe someone else can comment on the iPod behavior.
