I'm using the latest version of MC 12. It had been a while since I had synced my iPod - since my last sync, I had made some modifications to certain files in MC (like genre, not to title, name, or artist) and I had rated a number of files on my iPod. After syncing, I found numerous duplicate files on my iPod, and the ratings that I had set on the iPod (for files where I had made changes in MC since the last sync) did not seem to carry over to MC. Does this mean that any modifications made to a file in MC after syncing with the iPod will cause MC to see them as two separate files? Kinda frustrating if this is the case because it means that you really need to make sure that your tracks are completely cleaned up before syncing.
