When I try to connect my iPod Shuffle 2G it says that it is not recognized. Is this is problem or is there not compatibility for this iPod?

If so will there be a patch which allows compatibility, or perhaps a workaround?

I know it does work with MC12 (used the 30-day free trial), but I'm not sure whether I want to purchase it. Is there no way it will work with MC 11?

Maybe. I don't know. You could try reading some of the posts on this board:

The posts on version 11 will probably start about a year ago.

Apple has continued to change how they interact with the iPods, so our most current software will always work better.

So what was the fix? I may encounter the same problem as my wife has an ipod
