USBUIRT remote control delay of few seconds at the start up

Hi,

I start MC12 in theater view by default on my HTPC which I control using USBUIRT remote. Whenver I start MC12, the main Home screen with Audio, Images etc. comes up very quickly. But, the USBUIRT remote control takes 3-5 seconds to start working. It is always annoying to use the remote and find that it doesn't work and then it suddenly starts working. Can it be made to work much more quickly?
