Search & Replace

Actually it's "Find and Replace" in Library Tools.

Actually it's "Find and Replace" in Library Tools.

It's related to the other topic with moving files to different locations - but in fact I dont think that works the way I want to: What about the jpg's and txt's and pdf's which are in the same folder as my oggs - MC will not move them and I'll end up having a big mess.

Fortunately I tried to simply re-import my whole library and MC "fixed links" so that nothing was lost.

Glad you found a solution, but the Find and Replace tool would have have worked too.

You can move the folders with Windows Explorer first (outside MC) so that the library files become "offline" and then fix the drive letter with that tool. In this case MC does not try to move the files. For example:
Tick only the "Filename (path)" field,  Find what: D:\ ,  Replace: E:\  or
Tick only the "Filename (path)" field,  Find what: C:\Old basefolder\ ,  Replace: C:\New basefolder\.

You should disable the Auto-Importer before doing this and reconfigure it before enabling it again.
