I built an mp3 library while in the Audio mode and an image library while in the Image mode.

Can I get MC12 to automatically load the Image library when I change to the Image mode, and the mp3 library when changing to the Audio mode?

They should both show up, unless you set up a different library, using Library Manager.

Click a second time on the Audio or Images tab.

That's what I did. Created two libraries. Before, I had everything jammed into one library. Now with two libraries, when clicking the Image mode, no files are shown in the list - I have to go to File > Library and click the Image library. Then the images appear. When I want to work with music files, I click into the Audio mode and have to go to File > Library and click the MP3 library.

I'd rather display the appropriate library depending upon which mode I am in (Audio, Image, Video). Like everything else in MC12, if there's a way to do this, it is probably incredibly simple (once I find out how).

There's no reason to keep them separate.  If they're in a single library, you'll get what I think you're asking for.

That's how I originally had it, but whenever I was in the Audio mode, all the image data kept appearing in the list. I finally was able to remove it (see previous thread about this).

If audio and image files are listed together in one library, then I think I'll have to use SmartLists to view their entries separately. And I haven't been able to get my 3-pane window to appear when I use SmartLists - I just get a list.

That isn't necessary.  If you click on audio, you'll see only audio.  If you click on images, you'll see only images.

I disagree. I'll upload a screen dump called audioimage.jpg to pix01.

In that image, please note that:

 -The library name is "MP3 Master Library". I created it while in the Audio mode.
 -The Audio mode is highlighted. According to you, no images should appear in the list.
 -The first "Album" 20050710 is highlighted.

The list displays the images contained "20050710".

Image should be available now.

when you rightclick on audio>edit view scheme and you look under step four, what is standing there? there should at least be standing something like: [Media Type]=[Audio]
and under the images that show up there, in the tags should stay under4 media type: image.

Step 4 shows:

Sort: Artist,Album,Track #,Name

But after fiddling with it a bit, it now shows:

Sort: Artist,Album,Track #,Name Media Type: Audio

And that, my friend, solves my problem! Thank you for steering me in the right direction!!!
